Grow North

Grow North is a five-county area in north central Wisconsin along the border of Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The Grow North area boasts four distinct seasons that bring many opportunities to enjoy the natural resources of the region. With over 4,300 lakes and a half million acres of managed forest, the area is primarily known for tourism and outdoor activities. The region also has a vibrant economy with manufacturing, health care and agriculture.

The region served by two Wisconsin Technical College Districts, Nicolet College and Northcentral Technical College. Combined they provide over 200 certificate, technical and associate degree programs, and over 2,200 graduates annually available for employment in the region. The region is also served by the entire University of Wisconsin system.
