Fond du Lac’s Emergent Labs, a mentor-driven, emerging technologies seed accelerator that is housed within the Emergent Technology Center, recently announced its first four graduate teams. Health Connection LLC, BoviSync, Abysmal Ninja LLC and Princeton Audio were honored at the accelerator’s first completion program in December.

Emergent Labs serves entrepreneurs in northeast Wisconsin and selects between three and five technology-based startup companies for each accelerator session. Selected companies enroll in a 17-week, mentor-driven Lean Business Startup training program that meets for three hours every Thursday evening.

The Emergent Labs team aims to train and expose entrepreneurs to best practices in starting a business alongside world-class mentors and subject matter experts. Teams utilize Emergent Labs’ vast tech network, complete a business model canvas, receive guidance through an intense validation process, and learn how to pitch their products to angel investors.

All four graduating companies will receive a $10,000 grant through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) to further evolve their businesses.
