NESTLE TO EXPAND OPERATIONS IN LITTLE CHUTE

Nestlé Dreyer’s Ice Cream Company, a division of Nestlé USA (“Nestlé”), is set to lease a newly constructed, 300,000-square-foot cold storage distribution facility in the Fox Valley, and plans to hire 100 employees to accommodate the expansion.

“Nestlé had other lease options in the Midwest for this facility, and I thank the company for making the commitment to expand in Wisconsin,” said Mark R. Hogan, secretary and CEO of WEDC. “With this project, Nestlé joins the growing list of international companies that see the value of establishing or expanding operations in Wisconsin because of the state’s pro-business climate and dedicated workforce.”

To help support the company’s growth, WEDC awarded Nestlé performance-based tax credits to be issued over the next three years, contingent upon the actual number of jobs created and the amount of capital investment during that time. The Village of Little Chute is also providing tax incentives for the project.
