Wisconsin Unveils Foreign Direct Investment Website in Five Languages
The newest website in the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s (WEDC’s) arsenal features news and information about investing in or relocating to Wisconsin. And, to make it even easier for international companies, business leaders and investors around the world to learn about the state’s many assets, Invest.InWisconsin.com is now offered in five languages, including German, French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.
The website provides in-depth information about Wisconsin’s central location, strong industry leadership and business-friendly policies. Users can see information on the state’s renowned research and academic facilities, as well as snapshots and data about the main industries thriving here: manufacturing; water technology; food and beverage processing; energy, power and control; and bioscience. Stories about companies that have found success in each of Wisconsin’s main industries are also a main feature of the website.
To make the real-time information more accessible to foreign companies, users can select the language of their choice from the drop-down menu in the top right navigation bar. The website saves users’ language preferences, so each time a user navigates to this page, it will display the language last selected. This language selection can be changed at any time by selecting another from the menu.
