Global Finishing Solutions taps Wisconsin assets to accelerate growth
 In 2011, when Global Finishing Solutions (GFS), the world’s leading provider of technologically advanced finishing solutions, was looking to consolidate its global facilities to streamline operations, the company looked no further than its Osseo, Wisconsin headquarters.
GFS expanded its facility to bring all manufacturing operations back under one roof, and in the process added hundreds of jobs to the Osseo area. The company now employs approximately 420 people globally, with about 85 percent of its workforce based at the Osseo location.
Company leaders chose to reinvest in Wisconsin due to the state’s strong business climate and its hard-working, talented labor force. To help with its expansion, GFS tapped resources statewide including Workforce Advancement Training Grants from the Wisconsin Technical College System, as well as performance-based tax credits from WEDC.
