Whitewater site is now “Certified In Wisconsin”
 The Whitewater University Technology Park joins 15 other locations statewide as a Certified In Wisconsin® site, a designation that gives site selectors confidence knowing that building plans will not be held up by the costly delays that sometimes accompany permitting and approvals.
The 35-acre site is located less than one mile from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, ensuring easy access to top talent, in addition to the many other benefits of its “shovel-ready” status. The new park will help to cultivate successful businesses and research by collaborating closely with UW-Whitewater.
Since the program's inception in 2012, 17 development projects have been completed or are underway on 16 Certified Sites statewide. The projects, once complete, are expected to generate more than 1,600 jobs and $300 million in capital investment.
