SKILLED, BOLD AND BUSINESS-READY

Wisconsin is a great place to do business, and it’s only getting better. The state has dedicated $150 million to worker training and is preparing highly technical workers to be experts in their fields. We’re ensuring our next generation is qualified for the positions companies need to fill. We’ve also provided $2 billion in tax relief to help create financial stability and confidence for people who live and do business in Wisconsin.

Last year, WEDC assisted more than 300 businesses and communities. The top 10 commercial development projects alone represented capital investments of more than $680 million and are expected to create or retain more than 3,500 jobs in the state.

Our skilled workforce along with our competitive financial incentives, including tax credits and capital financing options, reinforce our commitment to business success In Wisconsin®.
