Bunker Labs launches program to serve veteran entrepreneurs

A new program aimed at helping military veterans throughout Wisconsin start and grow their businesses will accept at least 10 teams and individuals into its inaugural business accelerator program this fall. The Innovator Academy, presented by Bunker Labs Wisconsin and funded in part with a first-of-its-kind $95,000 grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), will offer veteran-led startups training, workspace and access to mentors and investors in a peer-to-peer learning environment. Immucor expanding operation in Waukesha County

Immucor, Inc. is expanding its operation in the Town of Brookfield, located at 20925 Crossroads Circle. The company will invest $1.58 million in facility upgrades and new equipment, and expects to add up to 64 new employees. Most of the new hires will be highly skilled technical specialists, such as R&D scientists and chemists. These capital and staff investments will enable Immucor to significantly increase sales of products manufactured at its Brookfield location, more than half of which will be sold to overseas customers. State receives $3.1 million federal grant to continue diversification of regional economy in East Central Wisconsin
