Foxconn is developing a world-class advanced display manufacturing campus in Racine County that is expected to create 13,000 new jobs in the region. This is not the first national recognition for the project. It also was recognized by Trade & Industry Development magazine’s 13th annual CiCi awards, as well as being named the 2017 “Deal of the Year” by Business Facilities magazine.
Also receiving recognition this week from the Mid-America Economic Development Council was the Supply Chain Marketplace developed by the New North, a regional economic development organization serving 18 counties in northeastern Wisconsin. The Supply Chain Marketplace received the Top Marketing Program award, which recognizes a comprehensive marketing program to market a community, county, state or region to a prospect.
The Supply Chain Marketplace allows companies to find new customers and reach new markets by highlighting their capabilities and by making connections to projects such as Foxconn.
