Congratulations to the MGE Innovation Center  – within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Research Park – on being named one of “12 Business Incubators Changing the World” by Forbes Magazine. The magazine listed the Center as a top breeding ground for compelling, high-tech startups, based on trends in funding for private companies.

Since 1989, the MGE Innovation Center has helped more than 70 early stage companies grow by assisting companies with establishing office and lab facilities with speed, ease and flexibility. The Center enables companies to focus on business development essentials such as product development, UW-Madison collaborative research, employee recruitment and capital investment.

The Center is located in the UW-Madison Research Park and hosts more than 126 companies that employ 3,500 people. Graduates of the Center that still reside in the Research Park include Madison’s Exact Sciences, which is developing a non-invasive DNA test for detecting colon cancer. Exact Sciences trades on the Nasdaq and boasts a recent $160 million market cap.
