WEDC is excited to share that gener8tor, a startup accelerator with offices in Milwaukee and Madison, was named one of ‘9 hot startup accelerators’ by CNNMoney. The accelerator seeks to invest in technology-enabled businesses, including software, IT, web, SaaS and hardware, and works with these startups to create successful, scalable companies. Startups selected to work with gener8tor receive $70,000 and 12-weeks of mentorship-driven programming.

gener8tor has successfully helped launch companies such as Scanalytics, which produces software in flooring mats that tracks people’s movement in stores, or at trade shows and events, and offers suggestions to boost sales. In addition, the accelerator assisted John Bialk, founder of Quietyme – which develops devices that monitor temperature, smoke and gas in buildings.

Congratulations to this Wisconsin-based startup accelerator! We wish you continued success in helping launch and scale businesses nationwide. Startups are encouraged to apply for the genera8tor Program at www.f6s.com/gener8tor. For more information, visit: http://www.gener8tor.com/.
