Shoutlet, a Madison-based company that provides an independent cloud-based social marketing platform, recently was awarded a $750,000 loan through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s  (WEDC’s) Technology Development Loan Program to help the company continue to grow its social media analytics and marketing offerings.

Shoutlet is an enterprise social marketing platform that enables brands to publish and measure their social marketing activities. Founded in Madison in 2004, Shoutlet also has offices in Atlanta and London.

The company works with more than 600 brands in 70 countries, including enterprise-level brands looking to deploy social marketing software to support a wide range of promotions and social engagements. Customers include Orbitz, Forever 21, Timex, Four Seasons, Best Buy and Fox Sports.

The Technology Development Loan Program provides funding to companies that have the potential to add to Wisconsin’s economic base in the long term by attracting and training a highly skilled workforce and establishing a unique competitive advantage.

The program’s funding levels are dependent on the stage of growth, capital need, financial leverage, economic potential, risk evaluation and other factors deemed by WEDC to impact the funding request under consideration. Visit the Technology Development Loan Program page for more information.
