Startup Weekend is the ideal setting to make initial strides toward launching a business, and both technical and non-technical entrepreneurs will have the opportunity for experiential learning during this 54-hour event. Industry leaders will also give talks and provide advice for attendees.

Following idea pitches on Friday night, participants will spend the weekend networking with other entrepreneurs, brainstorming, developing business plans, working on basic prototypes and preparing for Sunday night’s finalized demos and pitches. Attendees will include innovators looking for feedback, entrepreneurs on the search for co-founders, and thinkers and creators seeking particular skill sets or team members.

The event, hosted by Doyenne Group, will be held in University Research Park.

There are still spots left for developers, designers and businesses, as well as tickets for demo day and a pre-event workshop, but registration is limited. Get more information and register
