More than 20 communities to host events on May 13

Madison, WI. May 2, 2017 – More than 20 communities throughout Wisconsin will provide visitors with an inside look at 150 unique venues during the second annual Downtown Open House event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.

The free event, which has nearly doubled in size since last year, coincides with both National History Month and Wisconsin’s Creative Economy Week. Venues include historic buildings, art centers, museums and other iconic locations, many of which are typically closed to the public.

Visitors can enjoy guided tours, historical reenactments, educational seminars and musical acts, and businesses will offer specials throughout the host communities.
