APPLETON – Inside an airplane hangar at the Appleton International Airport Thursday, a trio of consultants offered a frank take on the Fox Valley’s need to develop a nimble workforce, and its progress in promoting the region as a unit.

This year’s event brought four site selectors from across the country on a tour of the economic assets across the Interstate 41 corridor, from Fond du Lac to Green Bay. The group began their tour on Tuesday, visiting companies and attractions around the region to get a feel for the larger economy of the area.
